MANAGER ESSENTIALS · 01
Let’s talk about feedback.
Listen. Practice. Grow.
SCENARIO-BASED LEARNING
Better conversations.
Stronger managers.
A practice-first experience that helps new managers turn difficult feedback into productive conversations.

The challenge
New managers often know the feedback model but hesitate when a real conversation gets uncomfortable.
The design decision
Start with a realistic decision, let learners see the consequence, then offer a chance to try again. Pair a short scenario with a conversation planner for use on the job.
How I would evaluate it
Pilot with first-time managers. Score an observed practice conversation against a behavior rubric, then follow up after 30 days. These are proposed measures, not reported results.

ONBOARDING & ENABLEMENT
A confident start.
Beyond day one.
A structured onboarding journey that connects the right support to the moments new hires need it.

The challenge
A single orientation session can overwhelm new hires while leaving them without support for their first real tasks.
The design decision
Sequence a 30-day journey around meaningful work: a preboarding checklist, a first-week guided task, a buddy conversation, and progressively independent practice.
How I would evaluate it
Track task completion, time to independent performance, and a weekly confidence pulse. Compare pilot feedback with the existing onboarding experience.

PERFORMANCE SUPPORT
Less searching.
More doing.
A concise, in-the-flow resource that makes a complex customer escalation process easier to apply.

The challenge
People do not need another course when the obstacle is finding the right next step during a customer conversation.
The design decision
Map the most common decision points with a subject matter expert. Convert them into a one-page escalation guide with clear ownership, exception paths, and sample language.
How I would evaluate it
Test the guide on representative cases. Record decision accuracy and time to find the next step, then revise ambiguous language before release.
Portfolio concepts created to demonstrate a design approach. No client affiliation or measured business outcomes are claimed.
HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER
From a learning challenge to something that works.
Practical support for teams who need clearer learning and better tools for work.
01
Learning strategy & design
Clarify the performance need, map the learner journey, and turn subject matter expertise into a focused plan.
Every engagement starts with a conversation about your audience, goals, timeline, and scope.
02 / EXPERIENCE THE LEARNING
Less “click next.” More “what if?”
Good learning gives people a safe place to practice. Step into a manager’s shoes for a moment.

THE FEEDBACK LAB 01 / 01
A deadline was missed. How do you open the conversation?
Alex has missed a second deadline. You want to understand what happened and agree on a way forward.
03 / THE APPROACH
Start with people. Design for progress.
A course is one possible answer. Understanding the problem comes first.
01
Discover
Listen to learners and stakeholders. Identify the performance gap and what success should look like.
02
Design
Define observable objectives. Choose the right format and build practice around authentic work.
03
Develop
Prototype early. Make content clear, accessible, and useful. Refine it with the people who will use it.
04
Evaluate
Look beyond completion. Check what people can do and use the evidence to improve the experience.
04 / THE POINT OF VIEW
Curiosity is part of the job.
✳
Learning should make work feel more possible.
My approach combines a learner’s curiosity with a designer’s attention to detail. I’m interested in the space between knowing something and being able to use it — and in building the practice, clarity, and support that closes that gap.
This portfolio explores that approach through scenarios, blended journeys, and practical resources.
